A man has been charged with a warrant after a public appeal to locate him in the Lake Macquarie area.
On Tuesday 3 September 2019, officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District commenced inquiries into a 27-year-old man's whereabouts after he failed to appear in court.
About 10.15pm (Friday 6 September 2019), the man was arrested at a Glendale fast-food outlet and taken to Toronto Police Station.
He was charged by virtue of the warrant and breach of bail and refused bail to appear at Newcastle Local Court today (Saturday 7 September 2019).
