Wanted person at Caboolture

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 44-year-old woman who escaped from a ward at a health facility in Caboolture yesterday (February 2).

It will be alleged at about 4.40pm, Glenda Hopkins broke out of the facility and fled on foot.

Hopkins (pictured) is described as about 163cm tall, Pacific Islander, with dark brown hair, brown eyes and medium build.

She was last seen wearing a blue and white floral shirt and denim shorts.

The woman was not in police custody at the time.

Hopkins is likely to be in the company of a man described as Caucasian, 182cm tall, thin build with brown hair and blue eyes.

Police are urging anyone who sees Hopkins not to approach her and to contact police immediately.
