Warrandyte Facilities Review Consultation Extended

Manningham Council

Following community feedback, we've extended the deadline for comments on the Warrandyte Community Facilities Review.

Manningham Mayor, Cr Jim Grivas, said that Council had listened to recent feedback from the community and extended the deadline to Monday 2 February 2026.

"While no decisions have been made, our community has told us that they'd like more time to consider the opportunities outlined in the review," Cr Jim Grivas said.

"This consultation process is part of a continuing conversation with the Warrandyte community, which has helped to shape the report and will also help us to explore options in more detail in the future.

"Over the past 18 months, we have listened to feedback from more than 30 key stakeholders, including community groups and facility users - but we want to ensure that everyone has a further opportunity to have their say," Cr Jim Grivas said.

"We have heard our community and appreciate their interest in this review, which is why we are extending the consultation time by 6 weeks.

"I want to thank everyone who has already taken the time to share their thoughts, whether it be recently or during the development of this review," Cr Jim Grivas said.

The Warrandyte Community Facilities Review Report identifies potential opportunities for improving local community facilities and was a key recommendation of the 2023 Manningham Community Infrastructure Plan.

In addition to consultation with key stakeholders, detailed needs analysis and building condition assessments have been undertaken to better understand community needs and ensure any future works result in fit-for-purpose facilities.

"The review outlines opportunities for further investigation, and we will continue this important work in consultation with our community. I encourage everyone to share their feedback," Cr Grivas said.
