Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Jesse Lunt, Victoria Police say.
A warrant has been issued for the 37-year-old’s arrest in relation to handling stolen goods and obtaining property by deception.
He is described as 170cm tall with a medium build and fair skin.
Police have released an image of Lunt, who is known to frequent cheap hotels in the city, in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his current whereabouts.
Anyone who sights Lunt or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Banyule Crime Investigation Unit on 9450 8000.
