Narrandera and Barellan Waste Depots will resume regular working hours from Saturday 21 August.

Narrandera Waste Depot will be open each day, except Monday and Thursday; while Barellan Waste Depot is open on Thursday and Sunday.

"We've listened to the concerns of the community and recognise that it is important for these services to be available," said George Cowan, General Manager of Narrandera Shire Council.

"While the Waste Depots remained available for commercial and industrial waste during the Stay-At-Home orders, we understand the need for these facilities to also be accessible for household waste -- particularly for those without residential bin collection services."

It is crucial that residents follow the NSW Government Stay-At-Home orders, which do not deem cleaning up the yard or garage as an essential activity.

"We wouldn't want to learn that residents have been fined for making a trip to their Waste Depot and encourage everyone to read the restrictions before leaving home."

Details of the Stay-At-Home orders can be accessed at www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules

It is imperative that masks are worn now they are mandatory in outdoor settings.

Please ensure you check-in using the QR codes and remain 1.5 metres from other people at the Waste Depot.
