The carpark along Quay Street, between Derby Street and Stanley Street, will be receiving a facelift this week.
Infrastructure Councillor Ellen Smith said as part of Council's maintenance works program, crews will be resurfacing the carpark to ensure users have a smooth and durable location to park.
"Many community members utilise this carpark and it is due for an update," Cr Smith said.
"Council will undertake works on Wednesday 15 March to Friday 17 March, during which the carpark will be closed. The carpark will reopen on Saturday 18 March, subject to weather conditions.
"Works involved include surface repair works, bitumen spray seal, asphalt overlay and line marking.
"We understand these works will cause some inconvenience for these days and we appreciate your understanding.
"The adjacent dirt carpark will be open for the public to use. If you choose to park in this area please be mindful of how you park and other vehicles.
