Police are investigating following a theft and subsequent deceptions in Werribee South earlier this month., Victoria Police say
Investigators have been told an unknown woman attended the foyer of an apartment building in Quay Boulevard about 7.15am on 1 April.
The woman forced open a number of mail boxes and stole an amount of mail.
Among the mail stolen were bank cards which were later used in deceptions in and around Point Cook.
Investigators have released CCTV footage of a woman they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the theft to contact Crime Stoppers.
