Shoalhaven City Council is saddened to report that West Ulladulla Sports Park's AFL field has been targeted in another vandalism attack. Investigations are underway after Council was advised on 27 September 2019, that only 3 of the 8 light towers were working.
A large amount of copper wiring has been stolen from the site, with tools located in the pits. The sports park's electricals have been isolated and Police are investigating the incident, alongside previous vandalism attacks on other sports fields in the region, which occurred a week prior.
Shoalhaven City would like to remind residents to keep an eye out on our sports fields and to contact Police if they see anything suspicious. The community is also being encouraged to come forward with any information relating to the previous attacks by calling Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
