What other Wollongong public assets will be up for sale?

The Premier told an infrastructure summit yesterday the NSW Liberals and Nationals Government would look again at "asset recycling" to finance the projects.

"Gladys Berejiklian has to come clean with the local community and tell us exactly what Wollongong publicly-owned assets she wants to flog-off to the highest bidder.

"Let's also remember that Ms Berejiklian herself promised at the last election that there would be no further sell-off of any public assets", Mr Scully said.

Mr Scully said the NSW Liberals and Nationals Government had already sold the Port of Port Kembla, Pillar Superannuation Administration, the State Office Block in Crown Street and half of Endeavour Energy, which services the Illawarra region.

"What is on the for sale list now that we as taxpayers already own?

"Will there be a change of heart on Wollongong Entertainment Centre and WIN Stadium going under the hammer?

"Are more social housing assets on the agenda given the Government has already sold 291 properties for over $153.6 million over the last 10 years in the Wollongong local government area?

"Is the 'For Sale' sign going up in front of Wollongong and West Wollongong TAFE campuses?

"It's time Gladys Berejiklian was open and honest with our community about what assets that we already own will be sold to pay for Sydney infrastructure projects, which consistently blow out by billions of dollars", Mr Scully said.

The NSW Liberals and Nationals Government has already sold $82.2 billion worth of public assets.
