Who is cutting jobs, Premier?

Tasmanian Labor

Tasmania's Premier has refused to say if he is a member of the Minority Liberal Government's budget razor gang.

When asked on ABC radio whether he was a member of the razor gang, the Premier failed to answer the question.

Shadow Treasurer Scott Bacon said it would be alarming if the Premier was not part of the decision making around the Liberals $450 million in job cuts.

"If the Premier is not on the razor gang, who exactly is running the state?" Mr Bacon said.

"People deserve to know who will make decisions about job cuts and they deserve to know why.

"There are $450 million in cuts coming from the Liberals' razor gang and the Premier won't even reveal his role in the process."
