Police are appealing for public assistance after a man exposed himself to a father and son on a Dandenong South bike trail this month, Victoria Police say.
Police have been told the man and his 10-year-old son were riding along the Eastlink bike trail next to Dandenong Creek about 4.30pm on 18 June.
An unknown male was lying on the track in full view of the public exposing himself and masturbating.
The victim approached the man and challenged him before the man got on his bike and rode away.
The victim managed to take a photo before the man left the scene.
He is described as aged in his late 40s to early 50s, 175cm tall, medium build, pointy nose and spoke with a European accent.
Police have released a photo of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
