The Zenith Theatre, Chatswood

After a wonderful season, the Willoughby Symphony 2019 chamber series concludes with its third concert, Bows of Youth on Sunday 4 August, 2.30pm in the plush and intimate surrounds of the Zenith Theatre.

Chamber Music Series Director, Daniel Dean, has put together a superb collection of masterpieces for strings lead by Willoughby Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster Maria Lindsay.

The concert opens with Sibelius' significant incidental music from the play "Ödlan (The Lizard)", self-described as one of his most exquisite works.

Willoughby Symphony is delighted to present a newly arranged work by 2017 FM 102.5 Fine Music Young Composer Award winner Ella Macens, before concluding with Mendelssohn's mighty Octet.

The 70-minute concert will be followed by light refreshments and the opportunity to meet the musicians – a delightful way to spend your Sunday afternoon!
