Windsor jewellery store burglary

Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a burglary at Windsor jewellers earlier this month.

Investigators believe a male offender has forced entry into the Albert Street business about 2.20am on Tuesday, 14 July.

Once inside, the offender has smashed a glass display case and taken a variety of jewellery items before fleeing on foot along Peel Street.

The offender was wearing a surgical mask, green hooded jumper and jeans and runners.

Police have released images of some of the jewellery that was stolen which has distinctive markings.
