Liberal Tasmania
Nick Duigan
Minister for Energy and Renewables, Minister for Sports and Events, Minister for Parks, Member for Windermere
Dean Winter would trade away our energy and economic future and not have a seat at the Marinus table under his plan.
Huge decisions that impact Tasmania for decades to come will be made around that table.
And Mr Winter doesn't think a Tasmanian is needed.
Winter would allow mainlanders to have full control of Marinus, meaning that Tasmanian consumers are at risk.
Households, businesses, and community groups should be fearful of cold Winters with Tasmania at the whims of mainlanders.
The Tasmanian Liberal Party has a sensible plan that protects consumers, small and large, without putting anymore taxpayer money into the project.
We will retain our voting rights and our say on what happens with our energy.
Winter can't be trusted.
