Witness appeal after dogs poisoned

Hume Crime Investigation detectives are appealing for witnesses after two dogs were poisoned in Sunbury on Sunday night, 21 January, Victoria Police say.

Police believe between 10pm and 11.30pm an unknown female was seen loitering in the front of a house on Underhill Court.

It’s believed at this stage the female has poisoned two Border Collie dogs while they were in the backyard.

One of the Border Collie’s died on its way to the animal hospital, while the other remains in a critical condition.

The woman is perceived to be Caucasian, in her late 30s to early 40s, slim build, wearing white baggy shorts or a skirt.

Police have released CCTV footage of a woman they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
