Police are appealing for public assistance following criminal damage at the Logan Reserve in Altona on 10 January, Victoria Police say.
Police and Melbourne Fire Brigade attended the reserve on Pier Street where a garbage bin and play equipment had been set alight.
It’s understood the fire started about 3.50am and caused significant damage to both the bin and play equipment.
Investigators have released images of a vehicle which was captured in the area at the time of the fire.
The vehicle is described as a dark coloured utility with an open rear canopy and distinctive alloy wheels.
