Police are appealing for witnesses following a pursuit in Bayside this morning, Victoria Police say.
Police received reports of an erratically driven black BMW sedan around 10.30am in the Chadstone shopping precinct.
The vehicle was seen shortly afterwards by police who attempted to intercept the car but the driver failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated at 10.49am.
The pursuit commenced in Chadstone and travelled through the Bayside area and concluded at Centre Road and the Nepean Highway at 11.30am.
The driver, a 37-year-old woman, has been arrested.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the car driving through the Chadstone, Bayside and along Centre Road areas and anyone with dash-cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
