Witness appeal following Dandenong hit-run

Dandenong detectives are appealing for public assistance following a hit-run incident in Dandenong last night, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told a white Toyota HiAce van and a Toyota Camry were parked near the intersection of Alsace Street and Alexander Avenue about 10pm.

A 37-year-old woman was involved in a disagreement with two men out on the street at that time.

The two men involved in the argument returned to the van and drove off but hit the woman in the process and did not stop.

The woman was taken to hospital suffering serious injuries and an investigation into the incident is underway.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or with any further information to contact Crime Stoppers.
