Melton Highway Patrol officers are appealing for public assistance after two cars collided at Taylors Hill today.
It is believed a white SUV and a black Holden utility collided head-on about 11.30am on Calder Park Drive, south of Taylors Hill Boulevard.
The ute caught fire after the collision and was extinguished by MFB.
The male driver of the utility received minor injuries.
The male driver in the white SUV received minor injuries and his female passenger was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators are keen to speak to any witnesses and anyone that may have seen the black ute prior to the collision.
