Witness appeal for aggravated burglary in Macleod

Banyule Crime Investigation Unit detectives are seeking assistance from the public following an aggravated burglary in Macleod on 16 October.

Investigators have been told an offender entered the Sydney Street home about 4.30am and stole a wallet and a purse.

Detectives have been told a man used credit cards stolen from the Macleod aggravated burglary at a service station on Gisborne Crescent Reservoir about 5am.

They then attempted to use the cards again at a service station in Plenty Road, Kingsbury at about 5.25am but were unsuccessful.

Police have released images of a man they believe can assist with their investigation.
