Police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate a collision between two vehicles in Yarragon earlier today (29 August, Victoria Police say)
Investigators have been told the collision occurred eastbound on the Princes Freeway at Yarragon about 3.30pm.
A white Mitsubishi Magna was hit by another vehicle and pushed off the road into a tree.
The second vehicle drove off.
The female driver of the Magna was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have dash cam footage.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
