Witness appeal to apartment building burglary in Niddrie

Moonee Valley Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses following two attempted burglaries and a burglary in Niddrie on 4 December.

Investigators have been told a woman attempted to enter two businesses on Keilor Road and then forced entry to an apartment building on Keilor Road between 11pm on Tuesday 3 December and 6am on Wednesday 4 December.

She initially attempted to steal mail from letterboxes in the apartment building but was unsuccessful.

The woman then went into the basement and forced entry to three storage cages, stealing power tools.

The offender is perceived to be Caucasian with a medium build with long blonde hair.

Police have released images of a woman they believe can assist them with their enquiries.
