Police from Melbourne Highway Patrol are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Southbank this morning.
Emergency services were called to the City link on-ramp near Montague Street about 1.15pm following reports that a white truck towing a trailer collided with a silver ute.
The driver of the ute, 56-year-old Newport man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the truck did not stop at the scene and investigators are asking for this person to come forward.
Investigators are also appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or with any dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
