Witnesses sought for CBD armed robbery

Melbourne Embona Taskforce detectives are hoping to identify a man following an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Melbourne's CBD in November.

Police have been told the man entered the Elizabeth Street pharmacy on 19 November just after 5pm where he approached staff stating he had a knife.

He made demands for prescription medication before staff handed over a quantity of medication.

The male then fled the store.

On 3 December, the same male attended the store and attempted to pay staff for the medication.

Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The male is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 30 years old, 170-180cm tall and skinny.

On the first occasion, the male was wearing large sunglasses, a straw hat, light coloured shorts, a long sleeve grey shirt and thongs.

On the second occasion the male was wearing blue jeans, grey running shoes, a blue jumper and blue cap with a white emblem on the front.
