Wolgan Valley Resort To Reopen In 2026

Lithgow Council

Lithgow City Council welcomes the announcement that the Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort will reopen for guests later this year.

The resort will reopen as Emirates Wolgan Valley – a Ritz Cartlon Lodge after Emirates signed a partnership with renown international hotel chain Marriot International.

The new partnership will see a further investment of $50 Million to upgrade and refurbish the site in preparation of the re-opening.

The re-opening of the resort signals confidence from the Emirates and Marriot about their future in Wolgan Valley, and the unique natural values of the Seven valleys.

The reopening will bring with it a critical boost for regional employment, tourism activity and the local suppliers who service the resort.

The Council continues to work closely with both the residents in Wolgan Valley and Emirates to support the community and businesses while the Wolgan Road Reconstruction Project is progressed.
