Woman arrested, after stabbing in Blakehurst

A man has been hospitalised and a woman arrested after an alleged domestic-related stabbing at Blakehurst this morning, NSW Police say.

Shortly before 8.30am (Tuesday 14 November 2017) police responded to reports a man had been stabbed whilst in a unit on the Princes Highway.

Officers from St George Local Area Command attended and found a 62-year-old man with a stab wound to his stomach.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to St George Hospital in a serious condition with non-life threatening injuries.

A 35-year-old woman was arrested outside the unit block and taken to Kogarah Police Station, where she is currently assisting police with inquiries.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
