Woman arrested over break-in on Mr Robert Whitwell's home, SA

A woman has been arrested in Queensland today and is expected to be charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass following an alleged break-in on the home of Mr Whitwell at Craigmore, according to SA Police.

Mr Whitwell was found murdered at his home address early last month and two woman have been charged over his death.

It is alleged the break-in on Mr Whitwell's home occurred several months before his murder.

The 19-year-old from Ormeau is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court in the near future when South Australia Police will seek her extradition to South Australia.

Her arrest, with the assistance of the Queensland Homicide Investigation Unit, followed investigations by detectives from the Major Crime Investigation Branch who travelled to Queensland earlier this week.

Mr Whitwell's family have been advised of the arrest.
