Woman arrested over convenience store robbery, SA

A woman has been arrested after a robbery at a South Plympton convenience store overnight, according to SA Police.

It will be alleged the woman was armed with a small kitchen knife, threatened staff and demanded cash at the Cross Road store just before 10.30pm on Thursday 4 January.

She stole cash and was last seen walking north on Winifred Avenue.

There were no injuries.

Police searched the area with the assistance of Police Dog Ruger and reviewed store CCTV.

Overnight, Sturt CIB detectives attended an address and arrested a suspect. The 44-year-old Glandore woman was charged with aggravated robbery and bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 20 February.
