Woman arrested over St Marys stabbing, SA

Police have arrested a woman following a stabbing incident at St Marys this evening, according to SA Police.

Just after 11.30pm, Wednesday 30 May, police and emergency services were called to a home on Walsh Avenue after reports of a disturbance.

Upon arrival police located a man with a stab wound to his head and abdomen, a 27-year-old woman who is known to the man was arrested at the premises. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment.

The woman is expected to be interviewed and charged later tonight.
