Hume Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 51-year-old woman following an investigation into luggage allegedly stolen from Melbourne Airport, Victoria Police say.
It is alleged up to 18 suitcases were stolen from the domestic carousel between 6 October to 5 September.
Detectives and AFP officers executed a warrant at Tremaine Avenue in Kings Park about 9am this morning.
Seven suitcases and property was seized.
A Kings Park woman has been charged with 19 counts of theft.
She has been bailed to appear at the Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court on 8 January 2019.
