Woman charged over domestic stabbing, NSW

A woman has been charged after a domestic stabbing in Sydney’s south west, NSW Police say.

About 5pm today, a 43-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, who are husband and wife, became involved in an argument at their home on Milparinka Close, Hoxton Park.

During the argument, the woman allegedly armed herself with a knife and stabbed the man in the upper forearm, causing a wound.

Police and Ambulance Paramedics attended, and the man was taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment.

The woman was arrested and taken to Green Valley Police Station where she was charged with reckless wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

She was refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court tomorrow.

Three children in the home at the time were uninjured.
