Woman charged with aggravated robbery, SA

A woman has been charged with aggravated robbery in connection with an incident at a newsagency on Jetty Rd, Glenelg earlier this month, according to SA Police.

On Saturday police released an image of the woman seeking public assistance to identify her.

It was alleged on 9 May she assaulted a staff member from the business after she was approached about stealing items from the business.

Police from the Sturt Local Service Area yesterday arrested and charged a 26-year-old woman from Morphett Vale with aggravated robbery, unlawful possession, carrying an offensive weapon and assault.

She was refused bail and is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
