A woman has been charged with drink-driving after a pedestrian was struck by a car in Cabramatta yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 5.45pm today, emergency services were called to Curtin Street following reports of a crash.
Initial investigations suggest a Mitsubishi Lancer was travelling east on Curtin Street when it crashed into three parked cars and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 53-year-old Canley Heights man, was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, including a broken leg.
No one else was injured during the incident.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 35-year-old Baulkham Hills woman, was subjected to a roadside breath test and returned a positive reading.
She was arrested and taken to Cabramatta Police Station where she allegedly returned a breath analysis reading of 0.077.
She was charged with low range drink-driving and is due to appear at Liverpool Local Court on 15 August 2016.
