Woman Critically Injured After Crash - Revesby

A woman has been critically injured after being struck by a motor cycle in Sydney's south west.

About 9.25pm yesterday (Saturday 30 August 2025), emergency services responded to reports that a motor cycle had collided with a woman westbound along the M5 Motorway, Revesby, between The River Road and Henry Lawson Drive.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 37-year-old woman at the scene before she was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

The motorcycle rider – a 19-year-old man was also treated at the scene and taken to the same hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command secured a crime scene that was examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.

Police have been informed that the woman was a passenger in a Mitsubishi Outlander that had stopped in an emergency bay.

It is believed the woman had exited the Mitsubishi and was standing on the offside of the vehicle checking on the welfare of two girls aged five and two when she was struck by the motor cycle that also impacted with the vehicle.

The children and the 41-year-old male driver of the vehicle were uninjured.

The M5 Motorway is currently closed west bound inbetween The River Road and Henry Lawson Drive and is expected to remain a crime scene for a considerable amount of time.
