A woman has died after being hit by a car in Sydney’s north-west yesterday.
About 9.30am (Monday 20 March 2023), emergency services were called to a car park on Showground Road, Castle Hill, following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated an unconscious 70-year-old woman at the scene; however, she could not be revived.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle – a 70-year-old man – was not injured, and was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report is being prepared for the information of the Coroner.
