A woman has died after being struck by a city-bound train at St Kilda last night, Victoria Police say.
The incident happened just before 10.30pm on the railway tracks near Raglan Street, just north of Inkerman Street.
Police believe the woman was standing on the tracks when struck by the train.
The woman, who is still to be identified, died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
