Woman dies after single-vehicle crash in Leeton

A woman who was in critical condition after a single-vehicle crash near Leeton last week, has died, NSW Police say.

About 1.20pm (Tuesday 17 April 2018), emergency services were called to the intersection of Irrigation Way and Whitton Darlington Road, after reports a prime mover had rolled.

The 63-year-old woman, who was a passenger, was airlifted to Canberra Hospital, where she remained in a critical condition.

Just before 1.30pm today (Wednesday 25 April 2018), she died in hospital.

A 53-year-old man, who was the driver underwent mandatory testing.

Officers from Murrumbidgee Police District will prepare a report for the Coroner, and will continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
