Police are investigating a fatal crash near Yass, NSW Police say.
About 3.50pm today, emergency services were called to Barton Highway, near the Yass Valley interchange at Manton, after a vehicle left the road and hit a tree.
The female passenger died at the scene. Her age is not yet known.
The male driver and a baby have been taken to hospital; however, their conditions aren’t known.
Officers from The Hume Local Area Command and the Crash Investigation Unit are at the scene.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is underway.
The Barton Highway is expected to remain closed in the region for a number of hours.
