Woman dies in crash, NSW

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in the states far south yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 4pm yesterday, a 67-year-old woman was driving her vehicle along Mount Darragh Road, Mount Darragh when it appears she lost control and hit a tree.

The woman’s partner, who was travelling some distance behind the vehicle, drove upon the crash scene and attempted to assist.

Sadly the woman was unable to be revived.

Emergency services were contacted and a crime scene was established while further investigations were carried out by police from Far South Coast Local Area Command.

Police are urging anyone with information on the incident to call Crime Stoppers.
