Woman dies in single-vehicle crash at Taralga

A woman has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state's Southern Tablelands today.

About 9.15am (Saturday 14 December 2019), emergency services were called to Taralga Road, Taralga, about 45km north of Goulburn, after a Toyota Hilux utility left the road and rolled into a paddock.

A motorist saw the vehicle and rendered aid to the driver prior to the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics, but despite their efforts, she died at the scene a short time later.

The woman is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be aged in her 30s.

Officers from The Hume Police District established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
