Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in Penshurst, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to a unit on Victoria Avenue, about 11am today (Monday 13 August 2018), following a concern for welfare.
Police attended and discovered the body of a 67-year-old woman and an injured 62-year-old man. The pair are known to each other.
The man was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.
Officers from St George Police Area Command have established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Inquiries are continuing.
