Woman hospitalised after dog attack in Greendale

A woman has been hospitalised following a dog attack in Sydney’s south west yesterday, NSW Police say.

Just after 5pm (Monday 4 December 2017), emergency services were called to a property on Greendale Road, Greendale, following reports a woman had been attacked by several dogs.

On arrival, police from Green Valley Local Area Command found a 78-year-old woman with serious injuries to her arms, legs and back.

Officers have been told the woman was attacked by three of her dogs after she came to the aid of her fourth dog, which was fatally attacked.

The dogs were secured in kennels and will be seized by Liverpool Council rangers this morning (Tuesday 5 December 2017).
