A woman is in custody after a domestic stabbing in Sydney’s east, NSW Police say.
About 2.50am (Sunday 23 December 2018), emergency services were called to an address in Elphinstone Road, South Coogee, after a 25-year-old man was stabbed in the shoulder.
The man has been taken to Prince of Wales Hospital in a stable condition.
A 22-year-old woman, the man’s partner, was arrested at the scene and taken to Maroubra Police Station where she is assisting with inquiries.
A crime scene has been established and officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating.
