Police are appealing for information from witnesses following a crash at Cowra last year, NSW Police say.

Just after 10am on Sunday 25 September 2016, a 53-year-old woman was standing near the scrap metal area at a waste and recycling facility on Glen Logan Road, when she was struck by a reversing white Toyota Hilux.

A number of bystanders assisted the woman, including the driver, a 74-year-old man.

The woman was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital for treatment of a broken wrist.

Officers from Canobolas Local Area Command are investigating the incident and would like to speak to any witnesses in the area at the time.

Anyone who has not yet spoken to police is urged to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
