Woman injured in dog attack in Daceyville

A woman has been injured after a dog attack in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, NSW Police say.

Officers attached to Botany Bay Local Area Command were called to Joffre Crescent, Daceyville, about 1pm today, following reports a woman had been attacked by three dogs.

The woman was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for bites to legs, buttocks and arms. She was taken to Prince Of Wales Hospital in a serious condition.

A man, believed to aged in his 50s, was also treated at the scene for minor injuries.

All three dogs have been captured and are currently at St George Council pound.

Police and council rangers are continuing their inquiries into the incident.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
