A woman missing from Croydon Park has been located safe and well.
The woman, aged 71, was last seen at her home on Burwood Road in Croydon Park, about 2.30pm yesterday (Monday 25 October 2021).
Officers from Burwood Police Area Command were notified later that day when family noticed her missing and an investigation into her whereabouts commenced.
Following inquiries, including a public appeal, a member of the public located the woman on Bland Street in Ashfield about 2.30pm today (Tuesday 26 October 2021), They stayed with her until emergency services arrived.
The woman has been reunited with her family.
Police would like to thank the community and media for their assistance.
