Woman possibly drink spiked at Bondi Beach, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance after a possible drink spiking incident at Bondi Beach.

Yesterday afternoon yesterday, a 27-year-old woman, a Foreign National, attended a number of different bars at Bondi Beach.

The woman experienced memory loss for a number of hours and was located on Bondi Beach by members of the public about midnight. She was only in her underwear at the time, NSW Police say.

Police from Eastern Suburbs Local Area Command were later notified and commenced an investigation.

The woman has told police that she believes the amount of alcohol she consumed was not consistent with the effects she experienced.

Inquiries are continuing and tests are being conducted regarding whether she was drink spiked.

In the meantime, police are appealing for anyone who may have information on the incident, or may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area, to come forward.

Anyone with information should contact Eastern Suburbs via Crime Stoppers.
