Woman robbed in parklands overnight, SA

Police are investigating a robbery which occurred in the West Parklands overnight, according to SA Police.

Just before 11pm on Thursday 18 October, a 27-year-old woman from Adelaide was walking through the parklands when she was approached from behind by a man who grabbed her handbag before running north towards Port Road.

The victim chased the man for a short distance before losing sight of him. Thankfully the victim was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as Aboriginal, about 178cm tall, skinny build and aged in his 30's. He was wearing a long black sleeved top, with a distinguishable maroon shirt hanging from the bottom of the black top. He also wore blue baggy pants and white sneakers.
