Woman tried to grab pram in Traralgon

Latrobe Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after an incident in Traralgon on Monday (28 January).

Police understand a woman was walking west along Shakespeare Street with her two children, both in a pram, about 2.20pm.

It's believed another woman approached the family and grabbed the handle of the pram and tried to pull it out of the victim's hands.

The victim hit the woman to the face, which caused her to run east along the street.

The mother and children were not injured during the incident.

She is described as about 165cm tall, a medium build with long blonde hair and was wearing denim shorts, a white t-shirt and sneakers.

Police have released a facefit of a woman they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
