Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of a fatal collision in Woori Yallock, Victoria Police say.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be established, however it is believed a car travelling along Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road lost control around a bend and collided with an oncoming vehicle about 3.40pm.
The female driver is believed to have sustained minor injuries, while her male passenger died at the scene.
The male driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle also sustained minor injuries.
Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road is currently closed between Dalry Road and Syme Road.
